  • Collecting & signing off on Job cards after service complete

  • Give info through to the Technical Assistant on any faults found during services

  • Resolving problems with Clients that are not technical of nature

  • Making of appointments with clients to have the monthly, minor & major services done

  • Requesting Safety Files

  • Contacting Suppliers on the availability of Aircon units and requesting of Purchase Order from Buyer

  • Looking up of info on existing customers on Pastel

Tasks

  • Responsible for executing requests given by millwrights and the Plant Engineer

  • Lubrication and greasing of equipment as per maintenance schedule

  • Cleaning and or replacement of filtration systems in facility

  • Assisting artisans with planned maintenance on down days

  • Assisting artisans with breakdowns

  • Removal and cleaning of conveyor belts as per master cleaning schedule

  • Cleaning of electrical panels as per maintenance schedule

  • Cleaning of parts and equipment

  • Housekeeping of workshop, Chemical store and service rooms

  • Cleaning of toolboxes and workshop tools and machinery

  • Assist QA regarding audit requirements

Competencies

Systems and Working Conditions

  • Able to stand for up to 12 hours, while working with and around machinery

  • Ability to work in a plant environment for extended periods of time (high temperature/high humidity environment)

  • Ability to work in a maintenance workshop environment for extended periods of time (high noise)

  • Work rotating shifts as well as weekends and public holidays in a fresh bakery environment.

  • Required bakery and maintenance workshop PPE to be worn
